New York City definitely belongs on the list of places you must visit in your lifetime! I agree that even in the bitter cold of winter you can still have a breathtaking experience in the Big Apple. I've always wanted to get on the ice at Rockefeller Plaza; all the more reason that there is nothing wrong for a winter trip to NYC.
ReplyDeleteI regretfully have to state that I, Keith Preston McFarland, have never been to New York City even though I live like two hours away in Philadelphia. NYC is always portrayed as a city that is so built up in terms of just how the city looks while walking around. I want most to go to Central Park because its one of the most unique places in the world because it is a huge park in the middle of such an expensive city and the land that it is on is worth billions. I'll make it there one day soon hopefully.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE New York City. I feel like it's a city that always brings me surprises, no matter how often I visit. The last time I visited NYC was at the end of my senior year. My friend and I took the train and spent the day wandering around the city. I love Central Park and the artsy atmosphere of that area. New York is such a diverse city! I remember walking past a trendy cafe and then wandering through a farmer's market 5 minutes later.
ReplyDeleteAnd, who could leave out the food? On that particular day, my friend and I made a reservation for Ninja New York, a place that we had found on the internet. You walk through the front doors, and a hostess greets you. She leads you into an elevator, and you being your journey through an ancient Japanese feudal era castle. It's a bit pricey, but I'd definitely recommend it! Your personal ninja server is absolutely worth it.
Let's make this clear: I HATE the winter. I hate the cold, and having a cold, and ice. I long for the beach, and being tan, and being able to just go sit outside. But NYC in the winter time is amazing. It is the one place on earth that I will go to in winter and actually enjoy it. It has this romantic feel to it, so I am willing to brave the cold and the snow to go to New York in winter.
